If you know anything about Fresno and the Central Valley, you know all about summer heat waves. This caught my eye last summer on Governor Gavin Newsom’s official Twitter feed. Since we are in the middle of the dog days of summer, I wanted to pass it along again.
Many areas in CA are already at 100 degrees! Heat-related illnesses are preventable! Know the signs & take precautions (1) Stay hydrated, (2) Stay in buildings with AC, (3) Check on sensitive groups, and (4) Do not leave children or pets in cars.
