Fresno Rainbow Pride committee selects a new theme for this year’s celebration in honor of Jeffrey Robinson. This year’s new theme is simply, “In Pride” and seeks to spotlight the life and years of service of the CEO of Community Link, editor of the local gay in print newspaper, and most recently pride director.
Here is the official statement from the Rainbow Pride Committee…
Each year, the Rainbow Pride Committee choses a theme and logo for the Annual Fresno LGBTQ Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival. For the Pride 2022 celebration we had originally chosen the theme, “Bouncing back with PRIDE,” to represent our delight in providing a Pride celebration after missing out for the last two years. But due to the passing of our beloved Pride Director, community leader, and friend, Jeffery Robinson, we have chosen to change the theme of our parade to “In PRIDE,” to honor Jeffery for his many years of public service to the LGBTQ community. Please join us this year in celebrating the accomplishments of our friend, Jeffery Robinson, and the accomplishments of our LGBTQ community, In PRIDE!
