Fresno’s Veterans Blvd opens to traffic

Veterans Boulevard was a decades old concept that barely broke ground not too long ago, and now parts of it are open to traffic, currently stretching from Shaw Avenue to Barstow Avenue. The next phase would extend it to Herndon. The significant of the project is that other than reducing down commute times, it also connects a community, the Forgotten Fresno (as Highway 99 cuts it) to the rest of the town.
