The Valley Crime Stoppers is a non-profit organization with the mission to deter, reduce, and solve crimes. Of course crime can be bad and scary for a community, but sometimes, it’s scarier to deal with law enforcement. Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.
This is done by the anonymity of callers, online tips, and even through a mobile app. Tippers are eligible to receive a cash reward if it leads to an arrest, thanks to the funding of anonymous cash rewards and through partnerships with law enforcement and media within the Central Valley.
